2021 RXPX fuel gauge stuck on full

This one has me wondering what I have wrong now, I ran out of fuel after replacing a leaking intercooler and a broken intake, looked at the gauge which showed full
and since it has been a while since I have been able to use this thing I took it for granted, thought maybe something else had failed on the engine since I have had so much luck with this this so far, but following the kiss method, spark, compression and fuel, obviously no fuel, this is weird the gauge is showing full, so I pulled the sender expecting the sensor to be broken, not the case everything is working fine there , checked the fuse, has power, so good there too.
Anyone else run into this? I really don't want to start tossing more parts as this thing.

Have seen one 2019 rxpx do that as well. It was a faulty ECU. It's simple to check the resistance from the sender when full and empty so no need to pull the fuel pump.
