To replace hood strut
Remove 2- 8mm bolts holding body hood panel. (See picture)
Slide panel forward
Handlebar/ hood assembly can now be raised to vertical.
Remove strut by twisting(unscrewing), use caution once strut removed assembly is heavy, have 2x4 to support weight.
Put lower rod support on first leaving upper disconnected.
Lower hood assembly and screw strut onto upper support.
Reassemble body panel.
