2018 GTI down button on right-hand side not working

Hi there,

I tried setting the learner key speed setting today and for some reason I can only go up in numbers (1-5) and not down.

I then checked to see if I can adjust the VTS position up and down in the menu as well, the down also did not work.

I thought it was the button but it has a very clear and definite 'clicky' sound so I do not think it is the switch.

I removed the handlebar covers and disconnected the entire unit to see if I could see something glaringly obvious, I found nothing. The switch is a sealed unit.

Some help/advice/suggestions would be appreciated.

Probably the button/switch. My cruise control switch did the same thing. Felt fine; clicked when pressed, etc, but wouldn't work.

Replaced it and all was good.
