I was under the impression that all the supercharger units from high power Seadoo's need rebuilding at the 100 hour point. Tonight, a friend of mine showed me a piece of info from an online source that state superchargers from 2017 units and later need servicing less often. I searched the threads here on the forums and cannot find anything to confirm that. All my units are 2017... what kind of supercharger life can I expect? Thanks.

Superchargers and supercharger rebuild kits manufactured after 2016 per Seadoo should be inspected every two hundred hours, 2013 - 2016 rebuild every two hundred hours, and prior to that rebuild every 100 hours. Inspection includes a slip test with specific torque tolerances.
The bearing cages are plastic and are prone to time failure. So a 2012 ski with 50 hours should definitely get rebuilt. A supercharger failure can be catastrophic to the engine so the general rule of thumb and staying on the safe side is a rebuild every 200 hours or two years.

Thanks for the info!
