2012 RXT Oil Change Torx Tool

Wanting to do an oil change....but removing the top of the oil filter can is impossible without a special Torx wrench that works in very tight spaces. Anyone know where to find such a tool? A socket wrench can't maneuver in the space and the socket itself (e12 Torx) also has to be small enough to fit in the indent on the can lid where the bolt is.

Help!

I use a socket and extension to get mine loose. Unless your 2012 is different than my 2008, you should be able to do the same.

The 2012 IS model is completely different in that the engine is a little more hidden and less accessible. There is only a few inches between the oil can top and another engine component. Plus the room to maneuver a socket wrench is only 5-10 degrees, at an angle. There must be a special tool for taking the cap off.

I have no experience with the iS models. i assumed it was a regular model.

You also can use a 8mm socket it will fit on the torx head
