2011 sea doo gti 130 not running!

Hi everyone... my brother took my ski out and said he took it off the trailer and it ran great. Beached the ski and started it right after took it about 100 yards and the ski would not move. Ski sounds very weird and does not move forward or reverse when on. Possibly a wear ring or is jet pump safe to say? Dealer wants to charge a lot for the jet pump. They said it "might" be a jet pump.

Look for debris stuck in the pump area.
