I am looking for some help/advice with a purchase I am considering. It's a 2008 Seadoo RXT 215 that is for sale for 3800 in the US. It was purchased by a Seadoo dealer who is also on a lake as part of their rental fleet from Bombardier and was used for the last 2 years. They certify that it has been 100% professionally maintained and are offering a 30 day "in house" warranty on the machine. Here are the basic questions I have.
1. What is a reasonable price for a machine like this in good to excellent condition. All I can find is spam ads with the same picture selling the maching for three different prices.
2. Are these really fast machines? I currently ride a 98 Seadoo GS
3. What some "tell tale" signs I could look for when "kicking" the impellers sp to speak as I really know NOTHING about these machines.
4. Are there any mods that can be done to increase performance?
