2008 rxt 215 that sat for probably 10 years

Friend has a I think 08 rxt 215 that's been sitting for like 10 years. Before it sat it had the supercharger rebuilt and basic winterization. Outside of basics like drain gas and change oil, what all needs to be gone through to get it sea worthy again?

Not sure I'd trust that Supercharger without having a look or at least a torque check. Those tension washers have been compressed long time and may not hold the proper torque on the impeller. I'd replace the coolant, jet drive oil, spark plugs and give it a thorough clean up and inspection. I might even pull the valve cover. I'm just finishing up my 1st Seadoo 4-stroke... :D Not a whole lot of room in there. Good Luck.

lol yeah I'm not a huge fan of the sea doo superchargers. My first ski was a 04 rxp 215 and it almost immediately through the clutch washer the ball bearing and needle bearing into the crank case. Was not a good experience lol

I did my first one earlier this month. Not a bad job at all but with the model ski I bought it was a freakin nightmare being my first one. It had the iS suspension which complicated everything greatly.

dealing with the suspension doesn't sound fun. Luckly I dont think this one has that. Its been a long-time sense I've seen it Tho lol

I'm no longer concerned about superchargers after having done one. I'm still not a 4-stroke guy yet though. LOL I rode that ski a 50mph and was bored it was so smooth. :D :D Sure is one fantastic piece of machinery.

Lol i know what you mean. I have a 2022 gp1800 svho and it gets boring after about 30 minutes especially because I'm always riding alone, but the acceleration on can be addictive lol. I still prefer my spx tho
