Troubleshooting RXT 215 Starting Issues

My 2007 RXT 215 starts inconsistently. Push the start button and I often get a muted click. Battery is fully charged and all of the fuses are good. Get the usual beeps when the key is on the post. All that said, sometimes when I push the button it starts up as it should. Any advice on how to diagnose and/or fix the issue would be greatly appreciated.

Replace your solenoid. That is typically how they fail. If it's a brown one then it is way overdue for replacement. The cheap black plastic ones on ebay for $10 work very well.

I am having basically the same issue as VanderLaan.
This is what is happening with my 2009 RXT 215. The key is on the post, and I get the all good two beeps. When I push the start button all I get is a click for the engine. The engine does not turn over at all. I did order and install a new starter solenoid from the Sea-Doo warehouse. I do have the battery disconnected when doing this repair. After installing the starter solenoid and reconnecting the battery. I sill get the click with no engine turn over.
I pulled out my battery tender jr. and it blinks which means the battery is 80% charged. Then I hooked up my battery charger and it showed the battery was charged.
I felt like the starter solenoid was the best place to start. Even though I didn’t hear the click from the solenoid. The click is coming from the engine somewhere. Any ideas or trouble shooting ideas would be greatly appreciated. I sure don’t want to take it to the shop, but I may have to.
Thanks

I took it to the shop and I found out it was this. After all these years I had no idea. I have always used a screwdriver to tighten the cables to the battery. That was the problem. I was not getting the cables tight enough. The technician put a socket to the battery post bolt and it fired right up. I have been riding the heck out of it since I got back to the house. It starts right up now every time. From now on I will use a socket to snug up the post bolt.
Have a great summer!
