That was my thought as well, the previous owner said the sc was rebuilt less than 30 hr ago. But it doesn’t have that sc pull under acceleration at all. I’ve ridden my buddies 230 it’s stock and pulls hard. The only recent repair I’ve made was replaced the impeller and wear ring which was damaged badly.
Any idea what factory pitch should be for impeller? It currently has 14/22 no cavitation won’t get over 6800 rpm and 55 mph. Super frustrating for a 255. Can sc be replaced while in water?
Plugs are brand new. Decided to check sc slip and found I was able to get it to spin with some effort. More concerning was the intercooler looked restricted with debris. I’m going to pull sc and replaced as the compressor wheel looks bad. I would put money this thing was not changed with in the last 30 hrs as told.
Ok so I may have installed the wrong impeller. Plugs are brand new ngk oe.
Usually a supercharger rebuild does not include the wheel, so a rebuild could have been done 30 hours ago. Post a pic of your wheel someone will know if it needs replacement. They are expensive. Check your washer slip with an analog torque gauge while it’s off. If you didn’t throw away your old impeller check the pitch or part number on the impeller and you could even throw it back on and see if it changes anything.
