Has sat idle since winterizing last fall. Looking to sell so doing a once over and it won't start. Added gas, charged battery.

Cranks fine but won't start. I noticed the instrument cluster doesn't turn on and no sounds when the key lanyard is attached. I checked the training key for giggles and same thing.

Thoughts? Ideas?

Thanks.

I would check the connections on the battery for corrosion shiny clean is the best. Is the battery connected correctly? Are you 100% sure it took a charge? If the battery sat for a year, unless its a AGM battery more than likely its shot.

I put a new AGM in mine 1st of August, kind of pricey at $146.

Check for spark. This will help us help you...

If we know what you are missing, we can go from there.

Oops missed the part when it said it Cranks? Is there a fuse going to the instrument panel that might also feed the ECM?

There are half a dozen-ish fuses. Various locations for various reasons. If you think you have a fuse issue, I would check every one by pulling them, testing them with a DVOM. I say this as, they can get wet and corrode a bit and cause a poor connection. By pulling them, it often is all that is needed to make a good connection.

So do you have spark when it cranks or no spark?

I will check for spark Friday when I had back up to my lakehouse. Ya battery is fine was on trickly charge for awhile.

I will also check all the fuses.
