Morning all,
I am getting ready to take my new doo out for the 1st time. I popped the front compartment and noticed a strong smell of fiberglass curing (did not concern me), but also caught a smell of gas fumes. I do not see any leaks, have traced the lines and all appear ok. Anyone else have the same issue? I am thinking this may just be the tank venting... Thanks for the assistance

That's why you should open the cover before you start it up. Look everything over too while its open.

I recently read a post on another forum where a guys ski blew up on his wife because he did not take the seat off and let it vent for a few before riding.

You know, when you place gasoline, and a hunnerd feet of gas line inside an enclosed area, you have great potential for a little leak.

So, I say, don't overfill the gas tank,

And pay particular attention to this doo. To vent it good before starting it.

You may, and may not ever find the source, unless it leaks fast enough to find it.
