2007 rxt

Hey guys I'm new to PWC world and just recently had bought a 2007 RXT 215hp 3 seater. I tried one out last year and fell in love.
Any pros...cons about these machines?
Also I know that the unit has been winterized by the dealership and they had put the environmentally friendly anitfreeze in it so my question is do you recomend that i fire the unit up in the garage before i take in out on the water or is it ok to take right out to the lake?
Also what are some of the things that i should be checking over prior to use?
