2007 rxp drain

How do you guys drain the foot wells after you dry dock it on a sport port or something similar -- it must hold 3 to 4 gallons of water and I think that will
damage the glue holding down the mats -- what a crappy design -- even on my trailer with the tongue all the way elevated there still remains water in there.

thanks

Bad design?...

Yeah, I just looked it up. Your right, its not the best design in the PWC's. Makes you think R&D were drinking a few brews when they came up with that one.

Your also right about the water damaging the mats. Over the long haul, the water will shrink the mats and they'll start to buckle. I know it's a pain but if you got a leaf blower, that might blow the water out so it'll dry. I guess they figured the RXP riders never got wet, barely skimming across the surface of the water......

you can swoosh most of it out with your hand sweeping back and forth, but you'll end up getting a little wet, then use a towel. not a great design but putting drains in it, like the LRVs, is risky too, since a bad joint could leak right into the hull.
