I just put my 2006 RXT in the river for the first time this season. Motor running great, but I notice that when steering straight ahead and going at lower crusing speeds like around 25 mph, the boat leans just to the left side of center and feels like it catches back at the OPAS vane and sends the boat leaning to the right side where it catches on that side and sends it back to the left of center ... and continues to do this as long as I continue to go straight. If I speed up to high speeds, it seems to ride smoothly. The OPAS vanes feel like they are correctly linked to the steering handlebar because the swing out from side to side as I steer the handle bar back and forth. Any thoughts why the boat occilates from side to side of center while steering straight ahead at lower speeds?
