2005 seadoo wake start button

I have a 2005 seadoo wake and it is very difficult to push the start button. I have to push it in different places and numerous times to find the right area for it to start. Is it stuck or do I need to replace the whole unit?

Take a look at this video, around 5:10—the guy talks about a sticky start button. You should just need a Phillips screw driver and some grease to make it work!
