My ski has had an intermittently slight squealing sound from time to time over the past 3 years. Today I was out and cruising about 40mph and all of a sudden the ski came to almost a stop. I thought I hit ground, but that was not the case. The ski would not push out water and it sounded like putting ball bearings in a blender. It sounded like a grinding sound. If I tried accelerate it would go no where. I was able to reach the beach going about 1mph. A guy at the beach said it sounds like an impeller bearing and possible wear ring. Your thoughts?
