Hey guys,
New to this forum and to very new to jet skiing in general.
I bought my first ski (second hand) approx 4 weeks ago, and it's been running like a dream. I took it out today when after approx 15-20 minutes of riding I noticed I would suddenly lose all power, and then it would just kick in again.
After is happened I decided to turn back home, on the way it happened again, a few times and at different RPM's. The dash gave me no warnings or alerts of any kind.
As I got closer it just cut out all together. When I tried to start it, it would beep 3 times and give me a "Hi-Temp" warning and I have since been unable to start it.
Even now a few hours later - where temperature could no longer be an issue, I am still unable to start it and still am receiving the warning and beeps. The engine doesn't even turn over, if I press start it kind of thuds and that is it.
Does anyone have any idea what I could have done? Best-worst case scenarios or tests I can do at home to try and figure it out? The ski has done approx 100 hours and there was plenty of oil/fuel in the ski AND the intake didn't appear clogged or anything when I took it out of the water.
Thanks in advance guys
