2000 GTI - Forgot to winterize...

Hi - We are the original owners of this 2000 GTI, and I forgot to winterize it this past winter. Unfortunately we had a relatively cold winter and the temp went below freezing numerous times. Are there any ways for me to tell if anything bad happened?

Run it on the hose with the seat off. If water is spraying out of the side of the cylinder or flooding the engine you cracked the cylinders.

Remember, engine ON then hose on, Hose OFF then engine off. NEVER, ever have the hose on and engine off.
