Hey guys I have a issue with my supercharged ski, it was rebuilt at 100hrs supercharger included. It's now at 106 hrs and runs great aside from a sloppy wear ring. But as the fuel tank drops below half, if I jump another boats wave or just buck into small chop my ski will bog right down and then after a few seconds re-gain full power. I've gone over all connections I can reach , check/cleaned them and applied some di-electric grease . Completely stumped maybe someone has an idea or experienced this as well . Thanks

Check your air, fuel or fire. Any codes immideatly after? Sounds to me like a fuel pump/line issue.

Thanks for the reply, plugs all look good, there's nothing obstructing the air intake , I'm about to attempt to pull the fuel pump out just to see if something is sucked up into it or possibly water in the fuel?, and no alarms when it happens

Has prob reoccurred since you checked all electrical connections? Curious....when was the last time you changed spark plugs?

Plugs were changed out 6 hours ago but I check/clean them before each ride . And yes it re-occurred after I checked the connections . When took the fuel pump apart the filter that sits on the bottom of the cartridge (outside) had a small amount of debris on it. The filter on the inside of the cartridge had quite a bit more so after I addressed that I put it all back together and ran it up in driveway , will do trials today to see if it helped

If this ONLY occurs when the fuel tank drops below a specific amount, you need to be looking at the tank and or lines relative to the fuel level. Maybe the baffle is the issue. Once the fuel gets so low and you jump the angle of the fuel changes..

I hear you, but the only weird part about that is it starts to happen when the fuel tank is 1/2 full, after physically seeing in there yesterday I don't think the suction in the lower sump would be anywhere near getting air with that much fuel in it. As far as the lines go I've blown compressed air through them but didn't see anything out of the ordinary

But it does NOT happen when riding straight and smooth, correct?
if it ONLY happens when jumping, the front of the ski is considerably higher than the back, which would put the fuel at an angle relative to the baffle.

I would pinch the fuel line off and run it from a 1 gallon tank. See if the issue leaves or not.. Just seal the tank and the line coming out of the jug very well.. Then go for ride.

My theory about it only happening when it's jumping or choppy just went out the window, rode over 60 miles over the weekend with it running good and at the end of the ride it was acting up without any cause. I'm wondering if there's a way I can test my fuel injectors without having a computer program? I feel like one of them was firing intermittently and now is more less on its way out.

Where was the fuel level when it started acting up? I'm still connecting a fuel volume issue potentially as on jumps it changes the level at the fuel pick up location.

Are you fining it ONLY happens when it gets up to temp? Never cold?

It was happening from 3/4 to 1/4 , but this was even still happening in a flat calm river wasn't getting full rpm couldn't get over 40 mph and I haven't noticed it cold yet

Spark plugs in the 4-tec are critical as far as good performance goes..

The injectors may be the issue. I have read where some have pulled the injectors and laid them where they could see them and cranked the engine. If you do this, ENSURE you make it so the ski makes no sparks. Unplug the coils, pull a fuse,, whatever it takes.
