Thanks Marky_Marc for some local contacts I’ll try them in the future. unfortunately in little S.A no one really wants to look at my ski because it’s 2 stroke. So I’m happy throwing a spanner around trying myself

Yeah, i pretty much do all the work on my Seadoo too. Best way to go if you ask me. I just use these contacts to order parts!

Alright replace oil injection cable wife went out still same problem. I got home from work flushed out ski smoking a plenty. Removed exhaust for easier access found salt corrosion onflange but only bottom half. Copper ring in there but also red silicone on flange. Black silicone on manifold and more corrosion. See photos.
Is there parts in my oil pump that maybe need rebuilding causing to much oil?? Any help appreciate

There is nothing to rebuild on the oil pump. Are you sure you have it adjusted correctly? The two marks should line up at idle.

For the pipe there should be no silicone on the pipe to manifold connection, just the gasket.

The mid-pipe connection should have Permatex Ultra Copper silicone on both sides of the copper ring. Clean the corrosion up with a brass wire brush. Connect the pipe exactly by the manual and torque per the manual with the correct sealants and thread lock. Get the entire pipe together and hand tight before you start torquing anything.

Your oil injection lines are original so replace them NOW! while the pipe is out of the way. I can also see the oil in them is green which IS NOT the correct API-TC full synthetic oil that you have to be using in this ski.

There should not be a gasket on the pipe to manifold. It should be the updated o-ring type. The gasket was used on earlier years until they found it did not seal well. There should also be a diaper around the flange surface in case you have a leak, the water wont get into the intake.

I would also check you counter balance oil level, and or flush it. It is EASIER to get at it NOW!!!

No. The ones that use the o-ring have a machined groove for it and the ones that use the gasket are just flat surfaces.
2000 and older use the gasket, 2001 and newer use the o-ring.

I feel like that fuel pump you had to begin with was the stock pump. Other than the numbers it looks exactly the same. The numbers may be lot numbers or batch numbers from manufacturing process. The part number is assigned to the whole assembly not just the electric pump. Here is what my pump looks like. It's exactly the same IMG_2309.JPGIMG_2314.JPG

Do i need the diaper even though im running pro-k’s on a 951? Only reason im not running factory box is because its goin in a 96xp

Especially if you are running open elements. Out of all the engines the 951 is the one that can’t tolerate any water ingestion.

Stout890 I agree that looks like my original pump but it was very noisy so I think it was ready to go. Thanks Also this “diaper”?? is that the rubber around exhaust manifold?

Ok cleaned and refitted exhaust as per instructions. Oil pump lined up as instructed. Out on river today slight gain in performance but still flat spot on high rpm “6700” very sparodic???
Don’t know what else to try apart from paying someone

Let's recap a little. We have been covering many different issues over the past 90 or so posts. Want to make sure I'm not confusing your issues with another thread :)

What was your latest compression test?

Have you tested the air pressure at the fuel rail?

Have you tested the fuel pressure after replacing the pump UNDER LOAD?

Maint light issues resolved? Has that warning gone away?

Raves nice and clean?

Water regulator checked and not leaking? Look here for instructions. how do i test a water regulator valve

Have you made sure the rave caps and the water regulator caps are set to factory specs? I don't remember the specs for your model... maybe someone else does.

The only issue left is the missing ~200 rpm ? Or is there anything else?

Last comp test 120psi
Last air compressor test 78-80 psi
Raves cleaned
Water reg checked
3 week wait for plug in only 1 in south AUS that can do a 2 stroke
Maint warning still sparodically coming on but clears instantly
Rave and reg caps all the way in
And still 6,700 max rpm wot and flat spot

Ok bought a candoo and used today for first time cleared codes then ran ski maintenance and light came on after revving then cleared itself on dash. On pc came up p0351/p0352 ignition primary circuit failure cleaned all earth points, reset everything I could,re cleared codes let run for ten minutes on hose giving full noise every now and then and NO maint or light or codes. Have I fixed my beast? To cold for water test but I did comp test with wot 135psi a piece, checked reeds all good,fuel/air good now the wait till warmer weather. Also found air line from rave solenoid to throttle body not connected
