2002 Seadoo GTI Hot Starting Issues

I have an'02 GTI that starts up and runs just fine for hours on end, but the minute that you bring it back in to shore and turn the motor off it will not start. Then we will bring it back home after about an hour it will start right up. I have tried removing the gas cap thinking that it is vapor locking and still no success. I have a hard time paying someone to do a possible easy fix. Any help with this would be appreciated.

It's very likely that your carb needles are leaking. Were the carbs rebuilt recently?

not sure if the carbs were recently done?, Is there a process to test this myself... i am fairly mechanically savy.
