2002 GTX DI starts then stalls

I have a 2002 GTX DI with about 200 hours on it. I just recently installed a new fuel pump (it was one of the ones off ebay not the one from SEA DOO). I installed it and hooked it up to the hose and initially everything ran well for about a minute. then it died roughly and now everytime I try to start it it runs for about 3 seconds and then dies.

I can clearly hear the pump priming. I am wondering if this could still be the pump or if it is more likely the regulator. Initially I was leaning towards pump but since this one is brand new and I have been told by the seller it is the correct one for the jet ski I think it may be another issue.

Likely the pump. But the best way to determine is to do a pressure test. The DI ski is VERY particular about the fuel pressure it needs.

Is there a way to test the fuel pressure regulator?

The seller is saying that if it is not holding pressure (which seems to me to be the case as it starts after prime and then dies off) that it is the fpr

Yes. But I don't know the specific details on how. I just know FP pressure is critical with the DI skis and you can test it.
