Are you sure it's a 2001 GSX Limited? I just looked it up and it doesn't seem to be a valid model for that year.

Lou

Yep... what he said.

If it is a GSX... look at the hull number, and give us the last 2 numbers.

It looks like the last GSX they made was the RFi in 2000.

In 2001 the limited 951 models were the GTX DI, RX Di, GTX, LRV, RX & the XP also the RXX but was modded at the factory for 160 HP.

Its my friends ski just told me its 1999 he took the engine to get rebuild and but he put it bk again ski is running bit seem to b filling with water and the pissers are the only pipes i can see he hasnt got on and i cant seem to find were they go cheers for the help

Can see that doe there be water going threw the crank case can see another valve comin out of were the carbs get the pulse from the engine ? Seen this on a google image of 951 engine

The engine in that cooling system isnt wats in this ski it has the same engine as the rx di just noticed it there and i foned the boy he bought it off it is 2000 sry

I can't give you an answer if it's not a factory ski, all I can tell you is to click PARTS at the top of this page and see if you can find something similar.

Lou

Ok get us a straight answer on what ski it is. Secondly if its a 951 engine then there is a cooling line connected to the large diameter section of the exhaust pipe, in the back. Basically just above the oil pump. I'd check that first.

According to the parts ware house its a 1999 gsx limited has 2 pissers at either side of the hull at the front the pipes of the these run down towards the engine i cant find anything in the diagrams to show were these go

O.K., here's the deal. Parts diagrams are only a representation of the parts, the manufacturer is more interested in showing the parts and not necessarily where the part is or how a particular hose gets from point A to point B.

Here's what I would suggest, download a service manual for your ski, you can get one on this site for free if you join as a premium member or you can just google for one. As Doc. said in an earlier post the last two digits of the hull identification number is the year model, ie 99 and the model number should be on a sticker on the hull under the seat.

Also take a picture of the ski, and the hoses that you are referring to, this way we can tell exactly what you are talking about, otherwise I see no point in continuing this thread.

I'm probably being nieve but wouldn't it be the same as an XP ? Starboard vent is battery breather , port vent is fuel tank breather and stern vent is water pisser .

Hi,
I found this thread by searching for what the tube on the port, front cooling system bleed outlet connects to. We have a 2000 GTX DI 951. The last two digits on the hull number are 07. Can you help us? We are new to the forum and having trouble finding this information.
I'm sure we'll have more questions as the re-assembly continues.

Thank you so much.

The last two digit of the HIN, hull identification number is the model year. So your ski is a 2007.
