You will need the special puller for the flywheel. I think it is like $20.

If it were me I only use OEM engine parts. You can usually score OEM pistons on ebay for a good price.
For cranks you can beat OEM and when you factor in shipping the cheap ones like SBT end up being almost the same. The key is finding a local Seadoo dealer that wont get you on core and shipping charges.

WSM piston kits are ok but I still prefer OEM.
I have had good luck with the WSM gasket kits too.

I would rebuild your balancer and rotary shaft while you have it apart too.

For cylinder boring I have used FullBore and Group K but I prefer Group K.

OEM as you said is Original Equipment Manufacturer = Seadoo/BRP.

Rotary valve gear spins tight is this ok or does it need to come out and replaced?

It shouldn't be tight. It should turn easy and smooth.

I found them. OSD had them said out of stock , emailed them and said they had plenty updated web site

Ok where the valve spins on the splines I can't turn it . If I grab the gear that the crank sits on I can move by hand but it's tight

That is probably why you couldn't get it to turn all the way over

If the crank is out the only resistance you should feel is a little from the seal. The bearings should be smooth as silk. Unfortunately I think you need to pull the rotary shaft.

Ok thanks will pull shaft I'm this far might as well do it complete.

what is the preferred method for cleaning these?

Take them all the way apart so you can inspect the seals and diaphragms. I clean the actual guillotine with brake parts cleaner and a brass wire brush.
