I have a 2001 Seadoo GTX DI. It is in limp mode. The error code is showing the exhaust temp sensor is bad. I have replaced it with a used sensor and an new one. It still shows the code. Any ideas?

Dont know about these but I do know in a car once the hard code is there it needs to be erased by a scan tool.

i thought enough start / stop cycles would clear this?

or if it's like a car; disconnect the battery, go have dinner, then hook it back up...

Once the problem is resolved it should reset the MAINT light itself. You may have more than that one problem. Check the charging system by running engine and seeing if battery voltage is showing around 13.5 v. The rectifier regulators are a common problem.

Try holding down the ``set`` button for a few seconds to try and clear the MAINT light. This will only clear if its a maintenance reminder.

I would check all harness and sensor connections. use dielectric grease on the harness connections.

Hey guys new to the forum, so i bought a 2001 gtx di for $400! I know i said the same thing whats wrong? So the jet pump was shot, i got a usd one from a friend and I was off two great days well 1 and a 1/2. Ski was running great and than mid WOT Maint message and ski will not go over 3000-3250. I a very handy but I just don't know about skis. Please help any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
