The pump looks good the clearances there are a few scuffs would this be a potential to cause cavation or do i need to be looking for something else? I had a rope go through the pump one time but was removed fairly quickly. Any help on this issue would be real good.
Thanks Mikeal

Here is some info on the wear ring. Also it might be a air leak in carbon ring on the jet pump shaft.

Wear Ring clearance for your seadoo 1.0 mm or (.040in) Measure the clearance at the center of the impeller blades, with a 12” long gauge. Measure the clearance from the venturi side of the jet pump.

Help! Please?

The clearances appear to be good the full lenght which is disappointed since i bought two new wear rings and o-ring kit. is it worth replacing to see if thats the problem or is there some where else i need to be looking the pump housing it self has no cracks could it be getting air from a trouble area i don't know about? I read your message is this not the proper place to post my question?
Thanks for your input. Mikeal

might wanna try using the neoprene seals between the pump/hull. Also try to re-seal the rideplates
