I have never had any luck with the etch primers but all the brands have an etch primer in a rattle can.
IF you are going for a factory color the Lowes Valspar Light Dune is a match for the Seadoo White and their Sumptuous Purple is a match for the Seadoo purple. Then topcoat with Valspar Gloss Clear.

I will probably put it silver like my Speedster 99.

The Moeller Marine Honda Oyster Silver is almost an exact match for the Seadoo Silver and they make an zinc primer and clear for it too.

Do you have access to a paint gun or air compressor? A solvent-resistant finish is impossible with a rattle can (ask me how I know). If you can keep fuel off of it, I agree it's cheaper to just use a spray can. Something to think about.

yes I have a gun and a compressor.

I ordered it online. The Moeller has been fine with fuel and sprayed WD-40 after every ride.

The paint is drying right now on the engine. I ended up using a paint that will cure with the engine heat. I didnt want to spend to much. The can was 20$. I'm working on the carb right now. They look pretty clean except one filter. I can see somebody worked on them last summer. I have a new set of minuki parts on order right now. Any tip on how to remove the paint/corosion on the carb?

What paint did you use. These engines don't get hot like a car.

You can only soda blast the carbs since it is soluble unlike sand or glass.

I don't think your engine will ever get that hot. I could be wrong but I have been able to put my hand on mine after running them hard. The pipes get hotter but not the engine.
The overheat alarm is set to sound at 205 degrees so these engines run very cool.

I will put it tomorrow next to my heater! I know they dont get to hot. That why I didnt went with the engine paint because the cure was at 450F!

My ford 302 is painted in the garage and perfectly cured and has never been started. On my seadoos I use standard Valspar rattle can and never had an issue. I think you will be fine as long as it drys.

Carb are done. New paint and new gaskets and new needle kit.

If you installed the springs from the kit then you now have the wrong ones in.
Your carbs take the Black 80gm springs and those don't come in the kit. You will need to put your old ones back in or order new 80gm springs.

The extra ring on the RAVE bellows is for the 951. If you look at your picture they are not the same engine. The one on the left is a 787 and the one on the right is a 951.

I'll agree with the others. You need the old springs assuming they were reading properly.

For some reason, new springs rarely work properly.

Are you guys serious ? I bought the oem mikuni carb rebuilding kit. Pop up was at 18 with the new spring so I had to bend the tab a little bit to reach 24-26 of pop-up.
