1996 Speedster Cavitation

Gents,

i have done some reading on this and have checked for Debris. nothing was found. The question i have is when i rev the bad boy up she wont jump out of the blocks. After numerous attempts and revs she will finally push out of the water and run well for the rest of the day, but this takes numerous rev from low throttle to full over and over again until she wants to jump and go.

i was wondering before i get crazy does anyone know what the issue maybe and a fix for this issue..

It's easy. You have an air leak. Check the impellers, wear rings, pump shoes, and carbon rings.

I'm going to bet it's the carbon rings. They are probably old, and when they go bad... the boat won't go anywhere.

i'm bet'n on the wear rings and/or messed up impellor.
