1996 GTX, I figured out all of my fueling issues. Now another issue is raring it's head.
If I'm on the ski weekend after weekend I have no issues. If I let it sit for a month it goes dead to the world. Not battery dead, non responsive to the key. If I pull the fuse in the starter relay box or if I pull the fuses in the mpem box it resets itself and it will start. Don't have the issue again until I let it sit. Any ideas? I have an 01 GTI as well, I intermittently get the ignition beeps in both skis when putting in dess key but it still starts whether I get the beeps or not. Could have MPEM issues in both skis but the GTI has done it ever since I've owned it going on 4 years now. The GTX gives me more consistent beeps out of the 2.
