Hello, My 96 sedoo gsx has developed an "engine whine". Engine was rebuilt about a year and half ago, pump was rebuilt at the same time. We were out at the lake and was running like a top, and then another person took it for a ride and now has a "whine" at over part throttle to the upper rpm's. Ski was shut down and towed back to the dock. It is in storage now, but will be picking it up this weekend to start to work on. What are everyones thought on this? engine or pump? I think first thing is to pull drive shaft to see which it could be? Has this happened to anyone before? Other things to check?
