Just bought was sitting for 6 months. Replace Sparks plugs wont run. Will crank but wont stay on. Has brand new battery and compression test was perfect. Any ideas!!!!!

"Will crank but wont stay on" DO you mean it will not stay running? Did you buy the battery new, or did they say it was new when you bought the ski 6 months ago. Did you have the battery load tested ? If its a brand new battery and has sufficient c.c. amps then I would clean all (+ & -) cable ends.

DO NOT JUMP BATTERY WITH A BOOSTER OR A RUNNING VEHICLE OR COMPUTER DAMAGE WILL OCCUR $$$$$$. Always disconnect battery (-) first And when reconnecting (-) gets hooked up last

Does the choke make it keep going? what are the compression numbers - should be at least 125 and hopefully 150 for good power, take the time to be sure the fuel is flowing all the way to the carbs, the small screens at the carbs will hold steel gas can trash and block the flow.

The choke does not help at all can u explain the carba and today I put a fuel cleaner into it and it didn't do anything

Need to know the compression numbers, this is the starting point for any 2stroke engine service, if you have offered extra fuel then spark and pressure are next to test, you can do both at the same time, rather than clip the wires on the orange holder put plugs in there and watch while you do the test, open the throttle a little and then redo the test with a spoon of oil in each hole to offer the rings a slightly better seal.

Carb test came back with 130 and there is spark how do u do pressure test also when I took spark plugs out they were wet and smelt of gas I this good or bad

need to pull the carbs. Make sure the "arm lever"..(has spring under it), is flush with inner carb plate. While carbs are off, turn the pto to verify that yuor RV isnt stripped. WHile turning pto, look inside intake manifold and you should see a "disc" opening/closing the port holes.

Thanks for the help. Today I took out the fuel and replaced it, still will just crank and crank. Are the carbs gumed up? How do i fix the carbs or what is the problem. Thanks
