RESTO 1995 sportster carbon ring kit

Seems parts for the sportster only go back to 1996. I have a 1995 sportster with a 587 motor. Can't find a carbon ring kit that is 1995 specific. Seems that the 96,97 will work. It seems it doesn't have the shaft half moon clip for the shaft. Does anyone know if the 96,97 kit will work?

The 95 Sportster had a 657X engine and didn’t use a carbon seal. This is the Osd kit I bought for my driveline:

Yours uses the carrier bearings.

Riva Seadoo has parts diagrams going back to 1989.

Thanks for your help. I wound up researching a bit more and got the diagram for the 95. Seems the setup is the same for the Explorer, 94, 95 sportster and speedster
