1993 sp electrical question. please help!!

ok my sp is acting up. when i go to start it, the engine will just turn over but wont fire. but when i shake the plug wires a little bit the thing will fire right up. i bought new plugs for it but it still is doing it. the thing will fire right up if the wires are where they need to be i guess. should i buy new wires? you guys tell me. thanks

crimp the tops of plug boots,(pliers), to collapse the "catch" inside it, that goes on top of spark plugs.
