14 hours and the motor is toast

The seadoo is ten years old always stores inside and had a total of 14 hrs on the motor when the timing chain busted. No help from the company or the local dealer even tho there was a recall . Just poor customer service. Iam replacing with a Yamaha

10 years old and every year serviced or serviced based on running hours ? Do not expect any help for a 10 year old item. If the timing chain snapped most likely you have a few bent valves, total loss engine I would say as it cost more to fix than the value of the thing.

Did the ski sit and stayed unattended for 10 years straight? Maybe it wasn't stored away properly? I wonder how oil in a crank looks after 10 years.
