06 RXP Resetting while riding

While riding my 06 RXP in bumpy conditions sometimes it seems like something is causing the electrical system to reset. Can feel the engine cut out for a split second and my gauge cluster will act like I just put the key in get the “welcome aboard” message and such. Engine doesn’t die just a split second hiccup.
Any ideas on the cause? Guessing a lose connection somewhere since it does it in bumpy conditions.

Something similar used to happen to me on a 2011 GTI. Only happened in rough conditions....what I found was that the LCD/GPS speedo would momentarily "register" a very high number like 80+ mph and the ECU would cut the throttle. Once it read the correct number, it would work as usual. Only fix was to replace the LCD (which I needed to after it developed a crack/leak).

I don’t think mine has a GPS speedo.
