2016 Rxt 300 shutoff while riding

Hello everyone. My brother in law recently purchased a 2016 RXT X 300 with 100 hours on it. While out yesterday it shutoff mid ride. After shutting off we tried to start but it doesn’t want to start. The engine sounds like it’s turning a little bit but does not start. Does anyone know what could be causing this?

Do your displays turn on normally?

The displays are working like they normally do. Just the engine won’t turn on after it shutoff midway through a ride.

I would check the battery voltage with a meter, both while sitting and when trying to start it. If the engine isn't turning over it sound like a battery issue.

Did you get any long beeps when it stopped?

No long beeps. Nothing at all. I’m thinking that there could be an issue with loose battery cables. My brother in law is taking it to a shop next week. I’ll keep everyone posted.
