hey all..
Have a 2004 GTX supercharged 4-tech (yellow & black) and looks like i might potentially have a big problem..
the other weekend - took it out for a spin.. after 5 mins the warning came on and i got an "oil" msg on the dash with the little beeper screaming it's head off..
came in to shore and checked the oil to find the engine was bone dry which was odd considering i checked it only the other week.. topped it up with 1.5ltrs and it was just showing on the gauge - so put another 2ltrs in and we were bang on the right oil level..
took off again and this time within 50mtrs of the shore i get the dash screaming, warning light on and the oil msg again...
back in to shore to check it again only to find that all the oil's now sitting in the bilge or bottom of the hull...
Have checked what i can from the top and it's all dry, so i can only assume it's leaking from somewhere underneath.. i'd seen on here about some potential rubbers failing but would like some expertise on the above before i go any further with potentially pulling the motor out as it could just be an easy fix..
Pleased to hear anyones thoughts / ideas...
