02 gtx di upgrade advise

Have 02 gtx di with about 180hrs. Should i have this think rebuilt or is it cheaper/easier to just buy a new motor? How about dropping performance 1503 or crate into it? What kinda cost you all think on rebuild vs 2 stroke motor vs 4tec motor? How hard would it be to change to 1503 and would it be worth it? Thought about buying a new spark for 8k. Love to get some input here and if anyone knows good performance shops that do custom work and really knows these machines in central to northern virginia area?

Probably over a 5 hour drive for you, but if you’re looking for someone to rebuild the machine, I would consider taking it to Fox Valley Powersports in Illinois. Peter Rucinsky is the owner. I’ve probably seen no less than 20 people praise his work and never one bad word.

Lots of questions here.
Yes these can be rebuilt but it’s expensive if you’re going to pay someone it’s not worth it.
You could get a new motor but the only real place that does exchanges is SBT and they are junk.
No, installing a 4 stroke isn’t worth the massive modification and trouble. Just buy a 4 stroke ski.
As much as I love Seadoo the sparks aren’t great the Yamahas are much better.
