Wow time flies. I can't believe I didn't finish this thread.
So carbs were rebuilt and everything put back together including the new JetTrim seat. I finally got to take it out and after about half a tank of fuel it started missing and only running on one cylinder. Once I got home I unplugged the red wire on the rectifier and it ran fine. To confirm I plugged it back in and was getting 15.6 volts at idle. So I ordered a new one.

So fast forward to the next summer I finally got to take it out in May and it ran great for another tank of fuel.
. The California lakes had finally gotten water after a 5 year drought and there was a ton of debris so I had to clean the rear pisser out about 5 times that day. Man, I hate breaking in skis, it is so hard to exercise restraint and do it correctly.
