Two things...

1) they really aren't meant to just sit in the water. Are you just letting it sit, or are you riding it, and it sinks?

2) Your leak is probably on the carbon seal, but all you can do is put it in the water an look for the leak.

That kinda happen to my friend.. Ever since his bilge pump stop working his ski gets filled with water, small amount of water coming from his crankshaft.... You could check that.. and also had another friend with your same ski that had internal leak from his crankshaft :)... You could check to see if it could be those. For the bildge pump if you plug your lan yard and you hear the little motor spin it works.. So that could lead you to check your crankshaft... Im not sure tho im just trying to give ideas that might help.

I had a leak in the head pipe from the underneath side...there was a small hole bout the size of a straw that was pouring water with it running..i don't know if your having this problem..but any aluminum welder can fix that..
