hey i new here, and a n00b with my recently purchaced seadoo. since i got it everything has been fine until i took it out on saturday and as soon as i connected the key it started continuously beeping, i rode it around for around 30 mins and everything was running normal.

i read in the manual that continuous beeping means overheating but it starts before i even start the engine. even if i press the start button while key is not on, the beep starts. anyone know whats going on?

start it on the trailer and disconnect the single brown wire to the temp sensor in the middle of your head. if the beep stops and the engine is cold, you need to replace that sensor. only let it run for 20 seconds or so on the trailer.

clean the landyard and post, with an eraser, then give a shot...if beeping, may be "corroded" inside the plug itself, for the temp sensor, and/or, disconnect the plug for the fuel baffle/sending unit, then try.

okay ill give that a shot.
sorry to ask, but where can i find the plug for the fuel sending unit? and i might add the fuel gauge isnt working.

follow the wires from the top of tank, they go to a plug..unplug that...since gauge dont work, no need to have hooked up...and that might be problem...beeping is for low/no fuel.

ah yep, theres pleanty of fuel but the manual says nothing about a continous beep because of fuel. ill see what happens though

happened to my boat....chased that gremlin beep EVERYWHERE, til i disconnected that plug...walah, no more beep.

i had a look under the seat and the fuel sensor/fuel lines thing isnt even connected on properly to the tank. that could be the reason. ill have to get to it tomorrow

Rusty, you need to add you seadoo model and year to you avatar for future problems or questions. You might want to check the oil injector sensor too as it will beep too if it indicates "low oil".

i had the same exact problem cant remember what gauges they are but 2 oth the gauges have the exact same plugs on them and i got them backwards somehow swapped the plugs and it worked

my problem was the feul baffle everytime i went i refeult it and had no problem for an hour or so
and then when the feul dropt it was beep beep every time and the feultank was more than half full
so i take the wires from the feulbaffle and connect them togeter but now the feul gauge is showing full all the time but that is better than the beep
