1996 gsx running problem

Hi, so I have a 1996 gsx and I am having trouble with it. Its starts properly but at soon as it runs, it shuts off after 1-2 seconds. Everything works on it like gauges, beep, key, ect. Does anyone know what could be the problem?

Check that the small black wire that connects to the battery negative terminal is providing a good ground to the bolt at the base of the coil in the rear electrical box. That bolt and all the terminals on it can corrode an may lose contact when the motor runs and vibrate. Move the black wire itself to make sure it is not internally corroded and causes a loss of ground to the bolt.
