What Adam said as an excellent start (from my small experience with old SeaDoos, just to have the engine turn over is a big plus).
How about a little more info like year of XP (if no paperwork it is the last 2 digits on the Hull ID), history like in how long it has been sitting and in what conditions (outside under a tree in Minnesota would have a different set of problems than outside under a tree in So Calif or Florida).
