I have read through the service manual for my 1999 Seadoo GTX Limited that describes the cold weather winterization. I can find the drain hose where water will exit, and the water inlet hose, but I don't know where I put the antifreeze into the engine. This model has the 947cc engine. Is the antifreeze solution poured into the water inlet hose that is on the right hand side of the engine between the cylinders until the antifreeze reaches the drain hose? Thanks!
The manual states:
1. Install a hose pincher to engine drain hose.
2. Disconnect engine water return hose from cylinder head.
3. Install a hose pincher on water inlet hose (except on 947 engine).
4. Temporarily install one short piece of hose to engine water outlet fitting.
5. Insert a funnel into hose. Pour antifreeze mixed with water in the engine until the solution is visible in the water return hose.
6. Remove temporary hose and reconnect engine water return hose to engine.
7. Remove hose pinchers.
