I have a 1995 Seadoo XP800 and I would like to put a hood/cowl that has mirrors which years will fit for a simple bolt on exchange for the regular thats on the re now?

Any of the "X4" hoods will fit. SPI/SPX/XP/SP

I dont think you necessarily have to change the hood. I have 2 skis, one with factory equipped mirrors and the 2nd one the prior owner just bought a set of mirrors and drilled a hole in each side of the hood for the bolt. Seems to work fine.

It's a personal preference but I rarely ever find myself using the mirrors other than to check to see if my wife is still behind me. I always turn my head and look before making a turn.
