Will a 96XP hood fit a 95SPX?

I saw a hood from a 96xp for sale and wanted to install it on my 95spx, but not sure if it will fit and there won't be any problems. The gauges on the hood don't work and aren't too important, as my fuel level system doesn't work on my spx, so no biggie. I'm mostly wanting it for the rear view mirrors, just to make it a bit safer with all of the crazy boat drivers who seem to like to drive right up on me.

Yep. Those hoods are all interchangeable. 95/96 XP, SPX, Sp, etc.

Thanks, I saw a 96 spx hood, it's the only one that I've ever seen for sale. The price is about 3-4x that of an XP hood.

Im selling a yellow hood from a 96 XP thats in really good condition. It is the mirrored one with the 3 hole gauges. It doesnt come with the gauges cuz im using them on my single gauge hood but ill cut you a good deal on it if you want it

The pile has gotten even bigger lately. We still have to strip 2 93 xp's a 96 gsx and a 97 xp that we just got in.
