Hey everyone, Im new here and need some help. This is my first watercraft, I went from driving an aircraft carrier {retired navy} to a 1993 sea doo sp. I need to know where I can find a seat strap. I have a disabled left hand and cant pull myself up without one. Also where can I find a step for the back. One that is spring loaded up when not in use? I will post a pic of the one handed rider as soon as my daughter teaches me how to do it on this computer:lol:

If you need a yellow seat strap... I have a new one.

The step... well... I guess you best bet is ebay.

Thank you doc. The color is not important. I plan on going to a lake this weekend so now time is my problem. Do you think it would be ok to use a tie down strap with the ratchet part down under the seat and trim off the excess webbing till I can get that strap or will the metal part pose a problem being under the seat? Clearance and all to the motor. Thanks Also, does anyone know of a site that sells the step I'm looking for?

I suggest you buy a ski with high gunwhales. The '93 SP is very tippy & a little tuf to board even with both handers. I ride mine in the surf and had to put a handle grip on the lefy side of the engine compartment after I had waves pushing the ski into my brainbox. :banghead:
GTS, GTX, and GTI's are easier to board, won't flip while getting on. Wecome and thanks for your Service protecting our nation.

welcome to the forum and thank you for your military service.
kind of reminds me of the movie Captain Ron, when Kurt Russell says he used to drive the Saratoga.

I never saw Captain Ron but I did get to steer the USS Enterprise CVN-65 for about an hour in the Indian Ocean. Trust me...there was nothing I could hit. I like the handle idea..do they make one that folds up? I won't be in any surfs getting my brain box bashed. :} What about sponsons? Do they make them for this ski? How do they affect turning? Sorry for so many questions but there is not a mil-tech-pub for jet skis in the navy. Thanks again everyone.
