When Did Sea Doo remove passeenger handles from Challengers?

I've got a 2002 1800 Challenger there aren't any handles up in the bow of the boat for passengers to hold onto. When did they stop installing them? IMO these are a must. My concern is how to bolt them in so they're structurally sound to hold.

Anyone know how I'd add these handles to bow area? I don't want them to pull out.

I would l just love to have one of those bow filler cushions for the 2000 class boat! Let me know if anyone has rigged one.

Do you have a radio? You could put a set of speakers up there and use the holes you cut for the speakers to access that back of the handles. I'm sure they would be easy to add. Just put some type of backing plate on the inside and bolt them down.

Great idea!!! Never thought of putting speakers in up there for access holes. Kill 2 birds with one stone.
