I have torn apart my 99 GTX RFI and now putting back together I have noticed no clamps for the two vinyl hoses that connect to the bottom of the oil tank. This is with the two connection on the bottom with one being a little bigger hose than the other.

Do these need clamps? If so any suggestion on what to use? I went ahead and purchased a metal worm clamp for the bigger one. Worried about cutting into the vinyl hose I wrapped with electrical tape and was careful to not tighten the clamp very much.

The little hose is too small for the worm clamps that I have. It seems that there was a black zip tie on it. Could this be basically what it was using as a clamp?

Is it even necessary to clamp these hoses? Anyone know what type clamps they came with?

Really, really appreciate any help.

Yes, clamp these hoses, you don't want air leaks in the oil system, use good quality cable ties.
